The options for quality control in the food industry have long been limited. Until now there were only simple metal detectors on one hand and high-price X-ray systems on the other. With Mekitec, you finally have the choice.

MEKI is an automated product quality control system using the latest X-ray image processing technology. The system images the inside of food products detecting foreign objects (e.g. metal, stones, glass, bones and dense plastics), simultaneously ensuring the overall quality, such as form and shape, completeness and integrity, and presence or lack of presence. High moisture, salt content or different type of packaging materials (like metal) are not a problem for the inspection.

MEKI requires the least amount of installation space in the production line compared to any other X-ray quality control system. Mekitec focuses on what is necessary and important in an X-ray for a food producer, so we can deliver the best value to Mekitec’s most valuable asset – our customer.

Inspected product must fit completely inside the detection area.
