ZSK Mc¹⁸ Twin Screw Extruder - Coperion

The ZSK Mc¹⁸ high performance twin screw extruder is a superlative product. With its torque of 18 Nm/cm³, it has made a name for itself on the market as a throughput champion for products with high torque requirement such as engineering plastics. The 30% increase in torque compared to the predecessor extruder model ZSK Mc PLUS leads to increases in throughput of up to 100%. Therefore the ZSK Mc¹⁸ twin screw extruder ensures production with maximum economic efficiency. The optimum price/performance ratio, the extremely energy-efficient operation, the wide range of applications, and the associated high level of flexibility of the machine are additional advantages.

With its D_o/D_i of 1.55, the ZSK Mc¹⁸ strikes just the right balance. It has proven itself in the processing of products with high torque requirements and enables reliable scale-up within the entire Mc¹⁸ twin screw extruder series. In addition, it is possible to scale-up and modernize the ZSK Mc PLUS series to the Mc¹⁸ series.

STS Mc¹¹ Extruders - Coperion

With its specific torque of 11.3 Nm/cm³ STS Mc¹¹ compounders sets new standards: it features up to 27% higher throughput rates than the preceding model, while the higher degree of screw fill results in a decrease of melt temperature, thus improving compound quality. It incorporates the full process and quality know-how of Coperion.

The STS Mc¹¹ series is exclusively equipped with European, Coperion branded gearboxes. Maximum screw speed has been increased from 800 to 900 rpm. To improve cleaning and facilitate quick changeovers for masterbatch applications, the STS twin screw extruder also features new hoppers with inserts and a redesigned die head. The screw shaft coupling is similar to the one long proven in the ZSK Mc¹⁸ series. The new, optimized base frame withstands torsion under maximum stress.

The STS Mc¹¹ compounder covers most standard applications in process technology. It offers high productivity at an attractive price-performance ratio. Production of the STS Mc¹¹ is in Nanjing, China, in compliance with CE directives. The result: A high-performance compounding system with low investment costs which ensures a fast return on investment. The modular design of the process section allows maximum flexibility in production at process lengths of 24 to 68 D.

Feed hopper in quick-change design

CTE PLUS Extruders - Coperion

With the CTE PLUS Coperion Nanjing offers a twin screw compounding system with a very attractive cost/performance ratio.
The precise manufacturing of the CTE PLUS series ensures the economical processing of a wide range of applications at high product quality. The CTE PLUS is equipped with a gearbox engineered by Coperion Stuttgart, Germany. It offers a terminal box that meets highest safety standards and is supplied on a unitized base frame at lower cost.
Before delivery each CTE PLUS extrusion system is subjected to a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) at the Coperion Nanjing site to ensure high quality standards. As an option the CTE PLUS series can be provided with TÜV CE certification. The CTE PLUS series has been developed with a specific focus on the special needs of small and medium-sized companies in China and Asia in terms of technological requirements and price.

CNC machinery with international state-of-the-art equipment, computer controlled machines for grinding of screw parts and for milling of die heads, in-house machining and assembly of gearboxes and our professional quality control are all part of the standards Coperion Nanjing has established to ensure the high reliability of the CTE PLUS compounding systems.
